Let’s talk a way to increase your efficiency
while jigging. Traditionally you just put a single jig or lure on your jig line and
that’s what you jig with. So, you’ve got one hook down there and you have one chance to
catch a fish. Now, in some states where it is permitted you can actually add another
rig above your other; your other lure. Typically when I do it I’ll use an imitation of an underwater
insect such as this one; here is another example. Essentially it’s just a; just a small fly,
again, acting to imitate an underwater insect. Now again, depending on the regulations in
your state you might be able to bait one or both hooks with either a worm or a maggot.
But, again using this increases your efficiency. You now have two hooks to catch fish with.
